About Rochdale Pride

Rochdale Pride is about far more than one day of celebration. It brings together charities, community groups, businesses, public services, schools, sports clubs and local organisations, all working side by side with one shared goal, creating a borough where everyone feels welcome, respected and able to be themselves.

The event provides a platform for organisations to connect with residents, build new relationships and strengthen existing ones.

From community stalls and volunteer groups to emergency services, our local authority, and LGBTQ+ organisations, Rochdale Pride creates opportunities for conversation, collaboration, and understanding.

Together, we celebrate what makes our communities stronger – inclusion, kindness and a commitment to standing alongside one another.

It's the Community that makes events like Pride possible year on year.

Whether you support young people, older residents, families, mental health, sport, culture, faith or local neighbourhoods, your presence helps demonstrate the strength and diversity of our borough.

Taking part is an opportunity to showcase your work, meet new people, recruit volunteers, build partnerships and let residents know about the support and activities you provide throughout the year.

By getting involved, community organisations help create an event that truly reflects Rochdale. Every stall, activity and conversation contributes to a welcoming atmosphere where people can learn from one another, make new connections and celebrate our shared values of inclusion, equality and respect.
